How do conservatives and liberals views differ on childhood obesity?
I am writing a paper on childhood obesity and have to find 4 main groups who are arguing about the issues of what causes childhood obesity and how to best fix it. anything will help

I’m a liberal and I say yank ‘em off the couch, away from the TV, away from the computer, wrench the pie out of their mouths with the jaws of life, and whip ‘em around the block a few times.
Liberals tend to prefer healthier diets (not smoking, vegetarianism, ect), though we certainly aren’t all like that.
Conservatives would rather indulge themselves now at the expense of their health years in the future.
Conservatives also support corporations which are responsible for Americans eating so much candy and fast food.
I am not sure about this but the liberals would probably say it is a disease and it is not their fault while a conservative would stop feeding their kids crap and make them work the flab off. For those people who blame big business because of people eating habbits it is the parents who raise their kids not the companies.
Most Conservatives are involved with their children which means they always make dinner, when I say make dinner, I mean something other than “Give me two happy meals with chocolate shakes, please”
We really cook, therefore most of our children are not obese.
Well I guess I’m conservative. I’ve seen and met alot of people tens of thousands actually. There is one thing the rich and the poor have in common, obesity. The rich because they can afford what ever they want. The poor because someone else is paying the bill. Foodstamps can only be used for food so they have no other value. I know that seems like I’m off topic but I hope you can see the subtle difference I am talking about. Conservatives usually have money, otherwise they wouldn’t be conservative. Your liberal minded people don’t have to be poor, in fact most are middle class like my parents. When I lived at home I was thinner than I am now. Of course I was an athlete as well. Now I’m not obese, but I guess I could lose a couple. I think that being a little overweight as a young child say prepubesant is o.k. it’s energy for later. But fat teenagers just doesn’t make sense to me. It’s a lack of discipline, and most children really thrive on discipline. I think it all comes down to lazy parents not spending enough time with their children so these kids try to find something that makes them feel good. Be it food, sex, or even drugs. My suggestion to repair the mental damage is to play ball. Ask the child or parent to play ball, and say maybe later we could go get a pizza.
